William Madison Miller

Lt. William Madison Miller (RET), 79, of St Cloud Florida, passed away February 28, 2019. Bill bravely battled multiple health issues, always remaining strong and smiling through all the adversity he faced. He was born and raised in Florida where he was a passionate graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s in nursing.

Bill proudly served our country in multiple branches of the US Military, for 20 years, retiring from the US Navy in 1983 as a decorated Naval officer. In his 44-year nursing career, Bill had the pleasure of working within his community in labor and delivery, emergency services, hyperbaric chamber, and the last 12 years he worked with the Osceola County Health Department in the HIV/AIDS department, as well as worked with hepatitis and tuberculosis patients.

Bill was known for his compassion and strong desire to help those in need. He was loved and respected by everyone that knew him and will be dearly missed. Anyone that knew Bill would remember his smile and his kind heart.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved mother Flora Alice Holleman, his father William Earl Miller, as well as his loving daughter Renee, and much loved grandson Ian. Bill is survived by his wife, honey and soulmate, Sandi Miller, as well as his sisters Carlene Holleman and Sally Ann Knope.

Bill was the proud father of 8 children, Jeff, Renee, Terri Ann, Ginny, Tricia, Robert, Lori, and Jennifer, as well as the beloved grandfather to 21 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service Wednesday March 6, 2019 10 am, at Living Water Fellowship 4101 Pleasant Hill Rd Kissimmee FL 34746. The family will receive guests at 9am.
