Zanna Sue (Eldridge) Partin, age 98, of Aquilla, Texas passed away Sunday evening, October 11, 2020 at her residence.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, Texas. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee, Florida.
Zanna was born August 30, 1922 in East Aurora, New York the daughter of Clinton and Susie (Gastmier) Eldridge. The family moved to Saint Cloud, Florida in 1937, where Zanna attended school and graduated from St. Cloud High School. She was very proud of being a fur model while in Orlando. Zanna married Charles C. "Hunky" Partin Sr. on December 25, 1943. Charles preceded her in death on October 20, 2011. Zanna loved to read, draw, and dance. She was a member of the Silver Spurs Rodeo Club and enjoyed working the concession stand at their events. Zanna kept the books for the family businesses for many years. She was a woman of Christian faith, a wonderful homemaker, wife, and mother to her children.
Zanna is also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles C. "Chuck" Partin Jr; and a sister, Virginia Addington.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Woodall and husband Harold of Mt. Dora, FL, Nancy Bollinger and husband James of Eustis, FL, and Charlene Bennett and Nick of Kennasaw, GA; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Partin and Henry of Aquilla, TX; grandchildren, Erica Partin and Justin of St. Cloud, FL, Leah Yates of Okeechobee, FL, Wayne Woodall and wife Necole of Eustis, FL, Rebecca Causseaux of Eustis, FL, and Andrew Batesole of Haltom City, TX; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Zanna also leaves behind her angels here on earth, her caretakers, Karlene Kilgo, Maria DeLeon, Soccora Wolcott, Cecelia Corpus and Estella Lizardo, all in Texas.
Graveside service will be 12:00 Noon Monday, October 19, 2020 at the old section of Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL. 34744, with Pastor Jack Pate, New Day Baptist Church, officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentle Transitions Hospice or the charity of your choice.
