Dorothy E. Heffner, 99 of Kissimmee, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of James E. and Gertrude E. Doughty, she moved to Kissimmee from East Liverpool in 1962. She was a retired bookkeeper for a hotel industry and was active in the Toho Friends and the Craft Club. She volunteered for Senior Olympics and volunteered for many years at Osceola Regional Hospital and the Cancer Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Deb) Heffner.
Survivors include sons: William Gary (Patsy) Heffner of Kissimmee, FL. and Phillip (Barbara) Heffner of Jacksonville, FL.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Celebration of Life service will be held 2:30 P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Chapel Of Light Mausoleum, Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Reverend Cathy Thacker, First United Methodist Church of Lake Alfred, FL. officiating.
