Haskel Eugene Herzog Jr., 55 of Poinciana, Florida passed away Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Kissimmee in 1986 from New Orleans. He was a Field Service Engineer and a Catholic by faith. Haskel was a member of the American Chess Federation and was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving his country with honor.

Haskel is survived by his loving wife Kristen Herzog of Poinciana, Florida; sons: Justin Herzog (Amy) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Caleb Herzog of Poinciana, Florida, Aaron Herzog of Poinciana, Florida; daughters: Hannah Herzog of Poinciana, Florida, Lauren Herzog of Poinciana, Florida; brothers: Kevin Herzog (Denise) of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Corey Herzog (Britney) of Mandeville, Louisiana, mother: Carol Herzog of New Orleans, Louisiana; 2 grandchildren: Mason and Madison. Haskel was preceded in death by his father, Haskel E. Herzog Sr. and his brother Timothy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Haskel Eugene Herzog Jr will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. Inter will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Mims, Florida where he will be accorded Military Honors.
