My condolences to the Charlton family. I pray you find comfort in knowing that even though we may loose a loved one in death, God will bring back to life all those found in his memory. (Job 14:15 John 5:28, 29 Acts 24:15) Yes, we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, and the life to be enjoyed when this takes place will be truly wonderful. (Revelation 21:3, 4)

Mr. Charlton taught two doors down from me my first year at Beaumont Middle School. He was such a kind man with a calming disposition. Always friendly and always helpful. Such an honor to know and work with, especially at the start of my career. Mr. Charlton was a great teacher, and a wonderful role model for new teachers. Rest in Peace Mr. Charlton.

Mr. Charlton was the BEST math teacher in the world...he taught me in a way that I actually looked forward to coming to math class (which was not my favorite subject). I also thought it was pretty cool he taught my parents before me as well as most of my entire very large family. He was always so kind and would take time to talk to me when I would run into him at Publix. Great man, fantastic teacher and will be missed greatly.

Mr. Charlton was an inspiration to me. He taught me to love math and it that was okay to get good grades and be an athlete also. Always calm and always in charge, I tried to emulate his style in my thirty-seven years as an educator. Thank you, sir, for your contribution to all us Kissimmee youngsters.

Mr. Charlton was a gentleman. He was also a patient math teacher. I know because I had him for algebra. Bless his heart. The earth has lost a good man.

What a wonderful man Mr. Charlton was.. He taught math with humor and intelligence. I struggled with math until I was in his class at Osceola Junior High School. For the first time, I found a teacher who was patient with me and able to explain things in multiple ways until I understood it. He never seemed to forget his students (as a teacher I never mastered this ability) and always recognized me when I saw him later as an adult. He was a very special man and I am so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Charlton is a Man of the Ages, as his kindness was always as vastly shared among as many students as was his proficiency in teaching Math. I, personally, remember his kindness and patience, as a teacher, at a time when neither was required or expected.
Today, as I read his obituary, I so wished that I could share with him how elated I am that my son, too, was a Dartmouth College Alum (History Major). Thankful that our paths crossed, if only for a brief time.
Praying for eternal Peace upon your Soul and for Strength and Peace for your family and all who mourn that your time here is no more.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family Karen. Your dad was a great man and left behind a legacy few men attain. Plus a lot more kids who understand math because of him. Hugs, Kim Armstrong Smith
