James Roy Pitts, 70 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born in Cordele, Georgia and moved to Kissimmee in 1965 from Lakeland, Florida. He was a retired Steel Construction worker and a Baptist by faith.

Roy is survived by his loving wife Sharon Pitts of Kissimmee, Florida; sons: James Roy Pitts Jr. (Jessica) of TalLahassee, Florida, Johnathan Pitts (Christina) of Chiefland, Florida, Jason Pitts (Kathy Arnold) of Palatka, Florida; daughter: Jennifer Renee Benoit of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers: Charles Bailey Pitts (Sandy) of Auburndale, Florida and Everett Luke Pitts (Elaine) of Thonotosassa, Florida; sisters: Ruth Grimes (Charles) of Polk City, Florida and Hazel Sherouse (Marvin) of Lakeland, Florida; 9 grandchildren.
