Bernice Louise Henry, 86 of Orlando, Florida went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica the daughter of Granville Clare and Celestine Magdalen Stanley. She moved to Orlando 17 years ago from Bronx, New York and was a retired Home Health Care attendant and a member of the Penticostal Church of God.
Bernice is survived by her loving husband John Henry of Orlando, Florida; sons: Shooks Monroe of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ewan Simms of London, England, Claudious Henry (Netitia) of Bronx, New York; daughters: Vivette Neale of London, England, Doreen Ambrose (George) of Vineland, New Jersey,
Audrey Borland (Michael) of Long Island, New York, Noreen Henry of Bronx, New York, Margaret Green of Beacon, New York; brother: Orville Clare of Brooklyn, New York; sisters: Ina Clare of Atlanta, Georgia, Dorothy Richardson of New York City, New York, Emily Clare of Kannapolis, North Carolina; 29 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents: Granville and Celestine Henry; one son: Anthony Henry; one daughter: Joan Ingram; sisters: Gwendolyn Washington, Olive Dalhouse, Millicent McLean, and Violet Clare.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Bernice Louise Henry will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee, Florida.
